After deciding on your Home Business/Businesses you need your own to promote it on. This is very important especially if you share your business with thousands of others, why?, because you need to stand out from the crowd.

Now, dont worry if you dont know HTML programming or any other language because there are so many companies online that come with easy to build websites. Take this site for example. It is created by using Godaddy.com Website Tonight. You can select a template of your choice and all you do is add your text like I am doing now. It is like using Microsoft Word or other text editing software. Adsense was added by just copying and pasting from my google account and images were just uploaded from my computer. Everything you need can be found from your menus on Website Tonight. I strongly recommend using Godaddy.com if you dont know much about creating a website. That is what I did and I have no programming knowledge.

for starting up your business I would recommend purchasing an established domain that has expired. Godaddy have a list of domains that are expiring soon. The good thing about purchasing expiring domains is that they have traffic already going to them and also will have been indexed by the search engines.

Take my domain for example. I purchased the domain name rkhock.com for £100. It has been online since December 1996. Over the years a steady stream of traffic has been building up and lots of inbound links from other sites, also it is already indexed by the search engines. Google had given it a Page Rank of 3 before I added my content. A month later it now has a Pagerank of 4. A lot of people respect sites with a Pageranking as they see it as an important site. Having this pagerank has allowed me to put link backs to my site from other high traffic high pagerank sites increasing my traffic.
Now I dont need to spend any money on advertising if I choose not to.

The old saying "Content Is King" is so true. Google especially loves articles. Once you have your site start writing about your Home Business experiances as well as advertising your Businesses. When the googlebot spider visits your site and reads the content on your site it sees your site as informative and useful to people searching for the subject you write about. This means your site will show up more frequently in searches meaning even more visitors and ultimately sales of your Home Business.
